With a firm belief that playing is beneficial to a child's social, cognitive, physical, and emotional well-being, our blog is written to provide education to parents, carers, grandparents etc about the benefits of play for the children in their lives. Every one of our blogs is written with a great passion and drive for early learning and how important this is in each child's life. We also work very hard to source beautifully crafted quality wooden educational toys to facilitate important developmental qualities in early childhood.

I am a lawyer and a stay at home mum bringing up three adorable children under five in these precious early years on Planet Baby. We've recently moved back to Hobart after 11 years in Sydney to raise the children and spend more time with family. This blog is about the funny things littlies do and what inspires and keeps me sane while I am living on Planet Baby. I hope you enjoy it!
My blog is about my personal experience with cloth nappies and elimination communication. My passion for cloth nappies has also sparkled interest in sewing (nappies), knitting (wool nappy covers) and compulsive shopping (for everything nappy-related). I started this blog in the hope that writing about my favourite topic will distract me from online shopping...
In short, I joined the vlogging and blogging world shortly after my partner Michael and I chose to start trying to conceive. We fell pregnant 3 months later and I shared my symptoms, thoughts and all my excitement and purchases on my Youtube Channel.I went to my 8.5 week scan and saw a gorgeous wriggly baby so I wasnt too concerned about our 12 week scan. We had our next scan at 14 weeks and heard the dreaded words Im sorry, there is no heartbeat. I had had a missed miscarriage where my placenta/amniotic fluid had continued to grow and had no signs that we had lost our baby until that point.I recorded a very raw video after finding out about my loss and have been trying to create awareness and help women going through a similar thing ever since via videos, blogs, emails and comments.7 cycles later and we fell pregnant again with our son Cameron. I had a beautiful pregnancy which I shared at my last blog Racheous Journey to Cameron. After giving birth to Cam I suffered from severe anxiety attacks and postnatal depression. Its an ongoing process but Im doing much better now and do not have anxiety attacks anymore. I also relactated after having to switch to formula feeding for a short period of time due to sedative medication. I shared that as well on a blog called The Relactater. Since then things have been beautiful. Truly beautiful. So Im sharing that with you, as well as the downright difficult.Im a 22 year old Mumma to baby Cameron who was born New Years Eve 2009 and wife of six and a half years to Michael. We live in a lovely home in Australia. I enjoy spending time with my hubby, family and friends, helping my baby boy discover the world, creating Youtube videos, digital scrapbooking, reading, watching movies, going to mothers groups and writing.

Laugh with me and cry with me as I write about my baby girl's adventures and misadventures!
A boy and a girl meet in the summer at the base of a big old tree. They are inseparable from this moment. Come winter the girl has a small bud in her belly, beginning to blossom in to half him and half her. Before long a baby boy is born and their lives are thrown into a flurry of nappies, nipple shields and night time feeds. Some days they cry, laugh and scream, yet they'd have it no other way. He may only be little in stature, but there's no doubt now that their house, is little Harry's house. This is a blog about life's suprises, living like there's no tomorrow, and learning that love makes the world go round - often a little faster than you expected. Enjoy.
