I write about food, films, family and funny times growing up as an Australian-Italian child in 1960s Sydney. My tastes are catholic and my musings include recipes for unusual Italian cuisine, nostalgia about my north-eastern Italian place of birth - Trieste, gratuitous folklore and scenes from rom-coms and 1940-50s screwball comedies and classics that relate to my stories. So many film and food memories, so little time.

We are 2 road tripping grey nomads, who built our own caravan and are travelling around various parts of Australia. Though this blog started out and continues to be a more personal blog, it is slowly expanding along with our experinces to include resources to help others plan to get the most out of travelling in a caravan, motorhome or other RV. It includes recipes, humour and planning/organization. We are even thinking of converting a bus into a motorhome - we still love our caravan, but a motorhome offers different advantages we wish to explore. Come see what we do.

This blog is about an Aussie who lived in Hong Kong but has since moved back to Canberra. Whilst in Hong Kong, I learnt Mandarin, Mahjong (Cantonese Style), Photography, Chinese Cooking and Chinese Knots. I hope to share some of my skills (mostly Chinese Cooking) with the Canberra foodie community. I will also include random favourites such as French macaroons and some oldies but goodies from my mum and nanna.
Im an Australian female living in the Perth and addicted to injecting as much style, beauty, and fantastic gastronomical adventures into life! Andtrying to balance all of this with the trials, tribulations and excitement of being recently married and pregnant.
I could tell you I'm some Supermum who has it all - perfectly manicured nails and sex 6 times a week - but I'd be LYING! Instead I'm a crazy chick who takes on too much and can't relax. Give me some comfy gear and a bag of snakes from the fundraising box and I'm all yours. In fact that's the way I started Mouths of Mums. It's a space where Mums can share their motherhood experiences and connect with other mothers for support, fun, friendship, advice or just a virtual pat on the back. We put you in touch with some of the newest products, services and ideas relevant to you and you tell us what you think. At Mouths of Mums, its all about you and its where your say really counts.
This is where the food adventure begins as our small group of culinary connoisseurs discover and critique a different restaurant in and around Melbourne each month. Our critique is a score out of 10 which covers quality and taste of food, service and value for money. We give our own personal evaluation as our own personal guide to where to eat in Melbourne. We have come together as lovers of good food and wine and have taken this culinary responsibility on our shoulders....and of course have some fun too.Bon Appetite fellow foodies!
