I am a lawyer and a stay at home mum bringing up three adorable children under five in these precious early years on Planet Baby. We've recently moved back to Hobart after 11 years in Sydney to raise the children and spend more time with family. This blog is about the funny things littlies do and what inspires and keeps me sane while I am living on Planet Baby. I hope you enjoy it!
My name is Lauren. Im Australian by birth but grew up as an MK in West Africa (with a lot of North American influences). I currently live near Brisbane, Queensland, Australia with my growing family. We have four beautiful daughters in alphabetical order! Were concerned about peak oil and the pending global energy crisis. So after we sell our house, we are heading to a rural property in New Zealand to make the next step to a self-sufficient, sustainable lifestyle. We would like our children to develop a lifelong love of learning and will keep them at home (unschooling them) instead of sending them to an institution. (This can be construed as an extreme over-reaction to my twelve years of boarding school)David and I believe that we are the church, and so we are transitioning to an unchurching lifestyle. This means that we meet together with other believers outside of the traditional Sunday morning gathering, and share the love of God with whomever he brings us into contact. Its certainly an adventure!I blog to remember these years of my childrens lives, to add my voice to the internet murmur and to give myself something to do apart from the washing and wiping down the kitchen counters.I keep an open house. Anyone is welcome to drop by anytime! This means youll take us as you find us neat, messy, well-behaved or not. But were real, and this blog is too. Subscribe or browse through the archives, and youll see what I mean.
SquiggleMum: a mother's heart - a teacher's mind - a writer's handI am a teacher-turned-mother currently being raised by two amazing little kids. I squiggle about a range of topics regarding parenting and education. I particularly love sharing ideas about literacy, play, outdoor education and family values. Through blogging I have the opportunity to share my heart for mothering and my thoughts about learning. (Plus I get to review and give away amazing products for Aussie families!)
A boy and a girl meet in the summer at the base of a big old tree. They are inseparable from this moment. Come winter the girl has a small bud in her belly, beginning to blossom in to half him and half her. Before long a baby boy is born and their lives are thrown into a flurry of nappies, nipple shields and night time feeds. Some days they cry, laugh and scream, yet they'd have it no other way. He may only be little in stature, but there's no doubt now that their house, is little Harry's house. This is a blog about life's suprises, living like there's no tomorrow, and learning that love makes the world go round - often a little faster than you expected. Enjoy.
Tracks the life of a 32 year old mum of 3 (with one on the way!). Inspire me, ridicule me, how do you do it? I laugh at the American soccer mom stereotype, I'm aiming for something in between Angelina Jolie and Marge Simpson.
Join me in my quest to lose the baby weight after pregnancy no. 4!You've seen the celebrities do it in 5 minutes flat, let's see how real people do it. Full of great photos of celebs, real mums, training tips and recipes. Inspire me, challenge me, let me know how you did it!
An attempt at a funny blog about an Aussie expat who lived in Ukraine, and has just returned to Australia with a baby (and her husband).
My name is Amelia and I live in Melbourne, Australia. As a child, I had very chubby cheeks.
Mother to three, wife to one, hag-ridden gorgon to many. I work full-time and cope part-time and cook, drink, knit and swear in between. Games of Root Shoot Marry are hosted on my blog every Friday night that I don't start drinking too early.
Mother, lover, poet, part-time procrastinater, daughter, sister, auntie, cook, cleaner (ha ha ha), programmer, writer... Aspiring to excel at all, but enjoying the training life is throwing my way!
I once had a great career and a fantastic handbag collection. I gave it up to become a housewife and full-time mother. This blog is my take on life in East Vic Park - a suburb with its fair share of odd people.
It's really just a load of stuff about my family, my life, my city and there's a bit thrown in about things that annoy, amuse or enthrall me, you know, a blog.
