This blog is about an Aussie who lived in Hong Kong but has since moved back to Canberra. Whilst in Hong Kong, I learnt Mandarin, Mahjong (Cantonese Style), Photography, Chinese Cooking and Chinese Knots. I hope to share some of my skills (mostly Chinese Cooking) with the Canberra foodie community. I will also include random favourites such as French macaroons and some oldies but goodies from my mum and nanna.
Musings on our life, this sometimes bumpy journey of mothering three sweet, lively girls and striving for a balanced, wholesome life. A stay at home mother living in Melbourne, Australia. And mostly, loving it. But sometimes, spending way too much time on Facebook.
I have considered starting a blog for some time now and FINALLY, the journey begins. This blog will include everything from vintage, fashion, shopping, dogs, food, friends, travel, my Melbourne and my life in general. I love to shop on a budget and truly believe that you don't need much to look great. I'm no fashion expert nor am I trying to be. This is purely for some light entertainment for me and you!
Emma was a commercial cook with the potential for an interesting future. Then she suddenly became a mum at 23. To maintain sanity she cooks like there is no tomorrow and shops endlessly for her beloved baby son, Wolfgang. All about cooking, babies, dining out with young children and general tongue-in-cheek philosophy on being young, being a mother and being a cook.
In an ideal world, we'd be spending all day with food - perhaps running a cafe in the Mediterranean, growing organic produce in rural France or hosting a cooking school in Vietnam - but instead we just spend a lotof time here in Perth talking about our dreams whilst eating, cooking, dining, trying and sharing all things consumable. Please stop by and view our recipes and musings.
This blog is a family (slash) parenting (slash) mommy blog. I focus on parenting issues, family dilemmas, raising teenagers (shudder!), raising tweens, raising babies/toddlers, shopping, mummy time, relationships, homemaking, product reviews and dealing with the ups and downs of having a large family.
