Hi Marc,

thanks for your excellent mentoring and support over the past year. The Exponential Programs Business Mastery Platinum Program has been invaluable in my growth as the owner of a my own Engineering Business.

Studying Engineering prepared me to solve problems that allow us to deliver world class Electronics Design, PCB Design and Embedded Software as part of our independent product development design consultancy. But it never prepared me for the challenge of solving the problems of how to grow the business into what I hoped for and what we needed it to become.

One thing I did learn at Deakin University while studying Engineering is that you don't know what you don't know. And I have seen this with so many of our clients where we are able to quickly solve problems they have been working on for a long time, sometimes years, because of the Technical Knowledge we have. Something they didn't know they didn't know, and so didn't know they needed to know it or that it was there to be known.

Thanks to your efforts and the outstanding Business teaching, coaching and training programs you have introduced us to over the last 12 months, we have seen a time of both personal growth and preparation for business growth. 2009 was a hard year for many and it affected us as well but during that time we moved to larger premises, got our branding and livery sorted out, worked out what we sell so we can present ourselves more professionally to our clients and prospects and won 2 National Awards. None of that could have happened without the mindset shift I needed to make.

I didn't know what I didn't know about business. Stuff I really needed to know.

I can't wait for the next breakthrough. 2010 is already looking pretty good.

Hi Marc,
You are so right! The difference between good blogging and great blogging is to have great content, readablity and to put some key principles, such as SEO, into practice. Ray certainly has done a fine job (for an engineer :-))
And now that I've found your great blog, I will add it to my own regular reading. Onward and upward!
